I Really Don't Want to Be Worth Hundreds of Billions

As the pampered young master of the Jing family, Jing Weimian has always dreamed of releasing an album, holding concerts, and becoming famous around the world through his own hard work! Unfortunately, his family won't allow it. They even threatened to break his legs if he ever dared to sing.

With no other choice, Jing Weimian secretly sang the theme song for a movie under the pretense of investing in it. He swore through his tears that he would rise to fame and amaze everyone!

Then the day the movie premiered arrived.

The film crew, which had been on the brink of bankruptcy, made a stunning comeback. The movie earned rave reviews and raked in box office profits, instantly earning Jing Weimian the title of youngest and most discerning investor.

The media swarmed him, asking excitedly, "Mr. Jing, your judgment is so exceptional, so why did you choose such an awful theme song?"

Jing Weimian: ???

...His song was awful?

Jing Weimian couldn't believe it. He promptly invested in an animated series, a game, and an entertainment company. If there was even a chance for him to sing, he refused to give up!

Then, a few months later, the game he'd invested in took the world by storm, bringing in tens of billions in monthly revenue. The animated series he backed earned rave reviews and sent shock waves through the industry. The entertainment company he founded expanded rapidly, challenging the giants...

Jing Weimian called in his assistant in a panic and asked, "Did my song become a hit?"

His assistant replied, "No, boss! But every project you invest in makes a fortune. Your net worth is about to hit tens of billions!"

Jing Weimian: ???

"This isn't our Boss Jing! Give us our Boss Jing back!"

"The entertainment industry can't lose Boss Jing's hellish singing voice!"

"Boss Jing, who brought us so much joy, is gone!"
