My Mosaic Manor (Western Fantasy)

Like every protagonist who transmigrates into a feel-good novel, I have a portable space where I can farm.

It can grow vegetables and raise pigs, with accelerated growth and a wide variety of flavors. It meets all of humanity's survival needs, so I can stay healthy even when I'm being hunted and exiled.

There's just one problem.

The world I'm in is too low-dimensional, so my portable space's memory has been forcibly compressed. Everything is pixelated.

For example, I take a brown square and put it in a field of brown squares. I water and fertilize it with a blue-square watering can, and a green-square plant bearing red squares grows.

I pluck a red square and put it in my mouth, tears streaming down my face.

Damn it, this time the red square is a chili pepper.

I look at the pile of brown squares behind me. I can't tell what kind of seeds any of them are.

This is so hard.
