Heartthrob Syndrome

Luo Beitang and Ren Yizhou were betrothed as children, and neither of them was happy about it.

Before the wedding, Ren Yizhou finds Luo Beitang. "I'm not interested in you. We'll get divorced in a year."

Luo Beitang sneers. "What a coincidence. Neither am I."

After they marry:

Ren Yizhou becomes a popular director in the entertainment industry, the talk of the town.

At an awards ceremony, the media secretly snaps a photo backstage.

In the photo, Mrs. Ren has fallen asleep in the dressing room. Ren Yizhou is kneeling beside her legs, tightening the loosened ankle strap of her high heels. His pose is so intimate and natural that the photo goes viral online.

A friend sees the gossip and teases him. "Director Ren, you're quite the actor. Weren't you two getting divorced? You make it look so real."

Ren Yizhou says nothing.

In a nutshell: A married couple who say they don't like each other, but whose actions tell the truth. Everyday marital life as they constantly go head to head.
