[Major revisions planned, read at your own risk]

Lu Qishun: I hope it won't rain tomorrow morning.

Wish Machine: The Wish-Granting Machine is here to serve you. Be brave and risk your life to clear the challenges! When you complete the game, I will grant your wish!

Lu Qishun: ...I don't want to risk my life over the weather.

Wish Machine: This request is outside the scope of our services. Enjoy the game!

Lu Qishun (coldly): Thanks. I just want to cheerfully send my regards to your entire family.

A story about two protagonists, neither of whom is clearly more unfortunate than the other.

Qin Xie is a player whose wish comes true right at the start of the game, but he still has to keep playing.

Lu Qishun is a player whose wish expires halfway through the game, but he still has to keep playing.
