The Returning Boat

A new boss has three fires to light, and the first one burns Xiao Fan. Xiao Fan has heard all the gossip in the world, but for the first time, she's the one at the center of it. The story is that she's dating the new big boss, Jian Hang. Jian Hang is elegant, modest, and courteous, yet always seems to keep everyone at arm's length. Xiao Fan is the only one who can bring a smile to his eyes. And so the rumors grow wilder, and more believable. They say Xiao Fan has a spare key and the passcode to the big boss's home; her fingerprint unlocks his private phone; and just one word from her, even a swear, is enough to make the icy boss laugh. Xiao Fan: Why not say the big boss has had a crush on me for years, and came back to the country just to find me after learning where I was? A careless remark comes true overnight. During a visit, Xiao Fan accidentally wanders into the secret room Jian Hang has kept locked for years. To her surprise, it's filled with pictures of her from their student days. Embarrassed, she turns to run, only to stumble into a scorching embrace. “I promised that if you ever forgot me, I'd pursue you all over again. So, can we reload and start over now?” * Gui Zhou means a ship returning from its voyage, referring to Jian Hang. CEO x Department Head One-on-one romance, warm and slow-burn, happy ending. A few notes: 1. This is not a reunion after a breakup. 2. Amnesia, a fake-replacement trope, and a doomed female supporting character appear. Please don't read if that's not your thing. Intended Message: Love isn't forgotten just because memories are lost.
