[One Piece] I Wish You Good Fortune

[Comments are now unrestricted!] [The story is complete. Please leave a five-star review!]

I came from the flames, and to the flames I return.

Burning in the flames, extinguished in the flames.

In my heart, you'll always be that boy who walked out of the flames.

You came from the flames, and you'll burn forever.

You'll always be here, in this world, in my heart, at its very center.

Portgas D. Ace. You are my fire. And I will love you forever.

Tips before reading:

The original version was written in 2018. I didn't save it at the time, so last year's version ended up being my reflections. I still wanted to tell that story, so I rewrote it following last year's outline.

■ Evangeline means "messenger of good news, gospel; angel" in Greek. Here, I use the meaning "messenger of good news".

■ This is my way of wishing Brother Ace well. Any OOC is my fault. Their relationship is more than friendship but not quite love. They're best friends, I guess. You can find the sweet moments for yourself.

■ The heroine lives in a "utopia" (with a little feudal superstition, ignorance, and distortion).

■ The heroine is no longer human later on (literally).

■ A very stream-of-consciousness 4,000-character short story, one of the birthday stories.
