Study or Die

The young master, who would rather sit than stand and lie down than crouch, came down with a strange illness that would kill him if he didn't study. From then on, he became a diligent, well-behaved little scholar. Out of the twenty-four hours in a day, every moment apart from eating and sleeping was devoted to studying. He studied like his life depended on it, squeezing it into every spare moment and unwilling to waste even a second.

Classmates: "Top Scholar, look down at us useless slackers for once. Would not studying for a day really kill you?"

The young master was miserable inside, but still had to keep smiling: "...Yes."

Because not studying really would kill him.
