Why Doesn't He Hate Me Yet?

A complete idiot suddenly appeared in Chi Yufei's stagnant life. Not only did this idiot constantly give him trouble, but he also mistook Chi Yufei and his friend for a couple and took him for a gay man. Whenever Chi Yufei had plans with his friend, the idiot would butt in and cause a scene. He mistook Chi Yufei's smile for tolerance and his politeness for fear, acting so obnoxiously that he was impossible to stand.

Chi Yufei was planning to deal with the idiot in private when the fool let his guard down.

At a friend's birthday party, the idiot came storming over. Irritated, Chi Yufei assumed he was about to spout some more idiotic threats. Instead, the idiot planted himself in front of him with his hands on his hips, face bright red, and couldn't get a single word out.

The next second, the piano music at the party stopped, the voices vanished, and everyone froze in place. Even the birds flying outside the window stopped in midair. The hands on the clock no longer moved. The world fell silent. Time had stopped.

Noticing something was wrong, Chi Yufei pretended to be frozen like everyone else. He watched with his own eyes as the idiot took off his hat, revealing a pair of fluffy rabbit ears that wiggled from side to side.

"Aaaah, I forgot my lines again."

The idiot scratched his rabbit ears, pulled a piece of paper from his pocket, and began reciting his lines right in front of Chi Yufei, complete with gestures and facial expressions.

"Chi Yufei, I'm warning you again: you'd better stay away from Zhou Luochen. Don't think you can do whatever you want just because you're Zhou Luochen's good friend..."

The idiot recited his lines more than twenty times, then got handsy with Chi Yufei and did a few other inexplicable things. Only then did he put the paper away and put his hat back on. In the blink of an eye, the world returned to normal. Chi Yufei calmly lowered his now-stiff arm and watched as the idiot stood on tiptoe, pointed at his nose, and very earnestly recited the lines once more, getting them wrong.

After finishing, the idiot strode away with his head held high.

Chi Yufei: ...Maybe there's no need to get rid of this idiot just yet.

Tan Huan had two secrets:

1. He wasn't human. He was a hybrid, with the bloodlines of an angel, a mermaid, an incubus, a fox, an elf, a vampire, a rabbit, and a human all mixed together.

2. He had transmigrated into a book to complete a mission. His target was to play the villainous male supporting character: sabotage the protagonist bottom's relationship, make trouble for him, and trip him up until the protagonist bottom hated him to the core. Once the protagonist bottom's hatred reached 100%, his mission would be complete.

The System promised to help him win the throne in his own world once he completed the mission. Because he was a hybrid with a muddled lineage and weak abilities, no one valued him, and there was no way the throne would ever be his.

Tan Huan was thrilled, excited, and raring to go, but he had no idea he'd been duped.

His System was a rookie. Not only did it get the mission wrong, it also sent him a fanfiction version of the original novel.

In the original, Chi Yufei was a gloomy villainous mastermind, paranoid, world-weary, and full of wicked schemes. He and the male lead, Zhou Luochen, had absolutely nothing to do with each other.

Tan Huan and his rookie System charged along in a ridiculous whirlwind with the fanfiction in hand, only to end up in Chi Yufei's bed.

Tan Huan: 0.0 Something feels off.

Chi Yufei: It does feel off. How is it morning already? Hurry up and stop time. Let's continue.

Tan Huan: ...???

Reader's Guide:

· Chi Yufei is the top. He and Zhou Luochen are just ordinary friends, with no other feelings between them. The System simply mistook the fanfiction for the original and made Chi Yufei the protagonist bottom in that version.

Theme: Be a positive, optimistic person who goes after what you want.
