The Gods Favor Me, But I Love You More

There had been plenty of gossip in the Divine Realm lately, and Shuangcui listened with great interest.

Good news: The great demon who had wreaked havoc in the mortal world has been captured by the Supreme God. The demon cannot die, so the Supreme God plans to send him to the human realm to undergo tribulations and reform himself.

Bad news: The Supreme God plans to send you to keep an eye on the demon, give him a scolding whenever he looks like straying down the wrong path, and help him experience the goodness and beauty of the mortal world.

Shuangcui: "Huh?" The sunflower seeds in his hand suddenly lost their appeal.

Before the great demon was sent to the human realm, the Supreme God summoned Shuangcui.

"In the human realm, you will remain breathtakingly beautiful and possess boundless magic. You will retain the abilities of your six-winged angel form."

Shuangcui knelt at the Supreme God's feet, weeping prettily. The Supreme God, who had always doted on him, would not let him refuse this time.

So Shuangcui had no choice but to follow the great demon to the human realm. Luckily, he only needed to appear at the important points in the demon's life. He did not have to be reborn alongside him and grow up from childhood.

In the first life, the great demon was a pitiful boy with both legs crippled.

In the second life, he was a prodigy whose spiritual core had been destroyed.

In the third life...

Shuangcui quietly appeared whenever the great demon began to contemplate destroying the world. He forged an identity, went to his side, and tried to spread goodness and beauty, hoping his kindness would change the demon. After several lifetimes of effort...

The great demon finally became a cruel and twisted even-greater demon, and captured him.

Shuangcui: QAQ

The great demon lifted a strand of Shuangcui's hair and kissed it. His cool expression concealed a pair of eyes brimming with madness.

"Give me a kiss, and I'll consider not destroying this world. How about it?"

Shuangcui was close to tears. How was he supposed to explain this to the Supreme God?

Later, he discovered there was no need to explain, because he learned the Supreme God's secret.
