We Encountered the Real Thing During a Paranormal Livestream

Bu Yaoling has had a special constitution since childhood, but with a protective jade pendant to keep him safe, he makes money by appearing in low-budget supernatural films and ghost-hunting livestreams. Who knew that during one livestream, the pendant would accidentally break? In an instant, countless evil spirits set their sights on him. Trapped with nowhere to go and ghosts on his heels, Bu Yaoling has no choice but to give himself to the most powerful evil spirit in hopes of surviving. Being possessed by just one evil spirit seems much better than being fought over and consumed by countless others. But it's still not great. Bu Yaoling brings the evil spirit's severed hand home and discovers it has quite a few odd little habits. Every morning when he wakes up, there's always some kind of "surprise" waiting for him. The word "Death" scrawled all over the walls in bright red; Bedsheets and clothes torn to shreds across the floor; Bloodstains that could belong to either a person or an animal; Even a bewildered kitten mysteriously dragged into the house... Then one day, Bu Yaoling wakes up to find that the bloody words on the wall no longer say "Death." Instead, they read: "I love you." - One midnight... A pale, slender severed hand is killing time in the living room, scrolling through its phone. After watching a breakdown of a certain supernatural movie, the hand suddenly realizes that as an evil spirit, it ought to be doing something more sinister. It rushes into the bedroom, intent on killing its spoiled little possession. The summer night is unbearably hot. Bu Yaoling, spoiled and self-indulgent, kicks off the covers, his cheeks flushed as he sleeps. The severed hand charges in and grabs him by the throat, tightening its grip. In an instant, a chilling wind fills the bedroom and the temperature plummets. Bu Yaoling drowsily reaches out, pulls the severed hand into his arms, and hugs it tight. He murmurs, "Handy, you're so cool." The hand freezes. It lets him cuddle it for half the night, then suddenly realizes that this isn't right. Its evil spirit instincts kick in again, and it bursts into action in a fury... At daybreak, Bu Yaoling opens his eyes and stares blankly at the clothes on his body, now reduced to shreds. He pulls the severed hand out of his arms and tosses it onto the floor. "No incense for you today!" - ○ A frightening comedy with lots of horror scenes. ○ The top appears in Chapter 9.
