After Falling in Love with an Evil God

Hailuola transmigrates into a future magical world, changing from a high school student into a witch. The magical world also requires schooling, and witches need licenses to practice. With no other way to make a living, Hailuola has no choice but to sling on her schoolbag and enroll in a seminary. Like her classmates, Hailuola has plenty of little secrets and worries. Alchemy class is too complicated to understand, and there are too many magical assignments to finish... And then there's her deskmate, Werterlo. He's a gentle and polite holy son, praised by everyone, yet he's the only one who treats her coldly, watching her every day to make sure she does her homework. Hailuola really wants to be friends with Werterlo. He's the holy son of the Holy Court, so he can easily approve the business license for her witch shop, which has nothing going for it. Most importantly, he's the class representative for alchemy, so he can let her copy his homework. So Hailuola works hard to win him over. She brings him hot water in winter, gives him potions when he catches a cold, and writes him letter after letter full of flowery praise. Until one day, Werterlo tells her, "Stop writing me love letters." Hailuola: "...What? Those were compliments, not love letters." Before she can explain, he says, "I accept your feelings." --- Blurb 2 --- Werterlo is the evil god, Lord of Death and Darkness, and rules over every creature connected to darkness. One day, he hears the voice of a believer. At a witches' gathering, a dark witch prays devoutly: "Respected Lord of Darkness, I am your believer, Hailuola. I beg you, please let me pass my exams this time!!" Werterlo frowns slightly. "How useless can you be? My believer can't be such a failure!" Werterlo decides to grant this believer's wish. He reincarnates and comes to her side, keeping an eye on her studies in the hope of training her to become the most powerful dark witch! But she's even more useless than he imagined! Not only does she daydream in class and fail her exams, she also writes him love letters all day long!!! Blurb written on September 3, 2020 Theme: Study hard and you'll get a boyfriend eventually.
