Heart-Racing Pheromones

Lian Xi joins an AxO dating reality show. His roommate, Chu Ci, is a top-tier star in the entertainment industry, the dream of millions of Alphas, and also an Omega. They have almost identical taste in people. While they're on the show, whoever Lian Xi likes, Chu Ci flirts with; whoever Lian Xi approaches, Chu Ci asks out. Lian Xi: My fists are clenched. A few days into the livestream, in a camera blind spot, Lian Xi angrily corners Chu Ci and demands, "Who do you even like? Could you let me get close to an A for once?" To his surprise, Chu Ci suddenly reaches out to touch his face, fingers warm and gaze intense. "Sure. Come closer." Lian Xi: "?" Alpha pheromones flood the air. * Day one of the livestream. Viewers: That's it?? Not a single A is good enough for my baby Chu Ci! Day two. Viewers: Holy crap, I'm dying laughing. Did Chu Ci join this show to hook up with an O? Hahahaha! Day three. Lian Xi is making breakfast in the kitchen. While the oil heats up, he runs to the fridge to get some eggs. A hand reaches past his ear and closes the fridge for him. Its fingers are long and elegant, its nails clean and neatly rounded. Chu Ci lowers his head to smell the back of Lian Xi's slender, pale neck. His Adam's apple bobs again and again. "You smell so good." In front of the livestream, the viewers' eyes turn bloodshot as they clamor away at their keyboards: Yes, yes, he smells so good! Eat him!!! * On the show, taking on each other's pheromones is the sign of a successful pairing. Unfortunately, one A doesn't exist on paper and can't be seen in public. As dawn breaks, water patters in the bathroom. Outside the door, Chu Ci folds his arms and occasionally sends a wisp of pheromones inside. "Want me to help?" Inside, Lian Xi is distraught and desperate. "You can't help! It won't wash off!"
