Coming Soon: [Crossover] The Yellow Springs Inn Synopsis ↓ A new inn had opened in Shu. Glass for windows, jade for tiles, precious stones for ornament, and gold for beams. Covered walkways wound beneath green eaves, and a clear stream meandered by, dotted with red flowers. The inn was a sight to behold, yet no one ever came. The owner held his cat and waited day after day, until at last the first guest arrived. Young Master Lin, whose entire family had been slaughtered by the Qingcheng Sect, had nowhere else to turn. One evening, he rushed into the inn and met its young owner. The youth had a bewitching look about him. He asked calmly, “Where have you come from?” The young master was filled with despair and grief. “If I enter this place, will I descend to the Yellow Springs? Can I see my parents and loved ones who died so cruelly?” The owner: “???” The owner: “Hey, buddy, what are you talking about?” The owner: “This is a legitimate inn, duly registered with the Time Administration. Don't get me in trouble!” Just as the owner and his guest were arguing, pursuers arrived outside the inn. At that moment, golden lantern flowers bloomed in profusion along both banks of the stream in front of the inn, vivid as blood. The assassins looked up and saw four characters on the inn's sign: The Yellow Springs Inn. Later, the troublesome guest in a bright red robe asked the owner with a grin, “Why give an inn in the world of the living such a name from the underworld?” The young owner replied, “Because there's really a direct shuttle to the Yellow Springs here.” Reader's Guide ↓ 1. Wuxia mixed with strange tales and myths. It includes some unusual Crossover settings and lots of author-created lore, so the characters will probably be very OOC. Recommendation: Romance with a couple: Five Thousand Days Until the Fall of the Nation by Yi Bu Zhi In one sentence: The record of a fallen princess saving her country. Synopsis ↓ To keep living as a carefree, doted-on princess, she had no choice but to beg her ancestors to save her. But her ancestors weren't very dependable either, so in the end she had no choice but to become the savior herself. That is the truth behind the legend of the Great Yue's Empress Tiansheng. . Her father is the emperor, her mother the empress, her maternal grandfather the chancellor, and her brother the crown prince. As a princess, she won the birth lottery and could simply rely on her relatives and laze around until the end of her days. Unfortunately, this perk lasts only until she turns twenty. After that, the title of princess comes with a prefix. “So, which would you prefer: ‘fallen nation’ or ‘former dynasty’?” . Her golden finger tells her that her parents, brother, and maternal grandfather can't save her, but she can choose to rely on her ancestors. Zhong Fanwei took a look at these so-called ancestors. The great-grandfather reputed to be a benevolent and wise ruler of a prosperous age couldn't memorize his lessons even after three days. The great-aunt reputed to be a princess who married for peace and cared for all the people was timid and could only cry. The great-uncle reputed to be the wealthiest man in the northern lands was penniless, with a bare house and no possessions. Zhong Fanwei: This is exhausting. You call these people powerful allies? Golden finger: Lazing around won't save your country, and neither will music, chess, calligraphy, or painting. Your goal is the stars and the sea... No, wait, to save your country and bring peace to the world. To keep your title as princess, work hard and make your debut as a savior. First, train them all into powerful allies you can rely on. Go on, I believe in you. Theme: Knowing you possess an immortal's bones, untouched by cold or heat, a thousand years apart, meeting you feels like yesterday.
