The Canary's Secret Identity Has Been Exposed!

* In his previous life, Shi Tang was given to a sinister, twisted disabled tycoon. He was kept in a villa as a pampered caged bird for three years, until a sudden fire reduced the place, and him, to ashes.

Only after Shi Tang died did he discover that he was living in a novel. He was just a minor cannon-fodder character sacrificed in the conflict between the protagonist and the villain.

After Shi Tang's death, the disabled villain constantly opposed the protagonist, who had a cheat-like advantage. He met a gruesome end overseas, and even his corpse became food for hungry dogs.

An extra chapter in the book said that before Shen Tanshan died, he had two regrets he could never put to rest. First, his legs were crippled, so he could no longer hold an umbrella over the young man's head.

Second, just a few hours before the fire blazed out of control, Shen Tanshan had stubbornly told the young man he didn't love him.

After his death, Shi Tang is unexpectedly reborn in the body of his original host, a high school student at the time Shen Tanshan was still in school. Back then, Shen Tanshan hadn't yet been framed and fallen from grace. He was noble, with an illustrious family background.

Shi Tang clenches his fists. Thinking of how well Shen Tanshan treated him in his previous life, and of the legs someone had crippled, he grits his teeth. He can't let that happen!

But after Shi Tang successfully changes the story's course, Shen Tanshan doesn't look as gentle and composed as before. Instead, he grows more and more gloomy and obsessive, his expression as dark as the Shen Tanshan of ten years later.

One day, Shi Tang watches as Shen Tanshan, his expression unbearably grim, repeatedly and frantically scribbles across a sheet of paper, as if he's gone mad.

"Why... does everyone say this person doesn't exist?"

"Why am I... starting to forget him, too?"

Only then does Shi Tang see that the sheet of paper is filled with one name, written over and over: Shi Tang.

"You've been in a good mood lately?" someone asks.

"Yeah, I found him."

"Congratulations. What are you going to do now?"

"Take him home," Shen Tanshan says.

And lock him up in chains.

One-on-one. Both leads are reborn. Don't imitate this story, and please have some self-respect.
