A Marriage to Bring Good Fortune [Nonhuman]

You have an extremely yin constitution and have always been prone to attracting evil spirits. But for the sake of profit, your cruel mother "married" you off to the sickly Crown Prince of the capital, who was born with the face of a demon. It was supposedly to bring him good fortune.

Rumor had it that the Crown Prince was refined and gentle, with impeccable speech and manners. He was a noble young gentleman, radiant as moonlight. But Heaven had been unkind to him, leaving him bedridden for years. A Taoist priest had declared that he was fated to die young, before the age of twenty.

The day you nervously "married" into the family, you wore a bright red veil over your head. Your husband, pale and gentle, lifted one corner of it and comforted you, telling you not to be afraid. He also told you he didn't have long to live and wouldn't share your bed.

A month later.

Your husband in name only died of illness. You watched as they placed him in his coffin, sealed it with nails, and finally burned it until all that remained was a pile of ashes.

You felt relieved, thinking you were finally free. After all, you were a man. How could a man truly marry another man?

But on the seventh day after his death, someone knocked eerily on your door.

Thump, thump, thump

Outside was a pale, handsome face. He stared at you with feverish obsession, as though he'd long been yearning for you.

Two pieces of news came your way.

The good news:

Your dead husband had returned.

The bad news:

He had come to consummate your marriage.

Important:

1. The top is cold and gloomy. Don't read if that's not your thing.

2. Not sure if this will be an anthology of separate worlds, so I'll see how it goes.
