The Monster That Followed Me Out of the Infinite Game

Yu Ning gets swept into a horror game and escapes by unconventional means.

There, he abandons the NPC "lover" he had been using, then returns to his ordinary life.

Until one day, he gradually begins to notice signs of someone else in his apartment, where he lives alone.

Someone has slept in his usually tidy bed and made it again; his toothbrush, which should have been dry, bears traces of someone else's breath and water; and after waking, his lips are chafed and split.

Yu Ning furrows his brow and immediately decides to move.

But on the day he moves into his new home, Yu Ning sees a familiar face he never expected to encounter again.

The last time he saw him, he was quiet and unable to speak, gentle and attentive toward Yu Ning, who could coax him into anything.

But this time, he has become a monster.

Unhuman, eerie slit pupils; blue-gray scales appearing along his neck; a double row of saw-like fangs revealed by accident.

It gazes at Yu Ning with cold greed, speaking in an awkward, strange voice: "My lover ran away."

It gives Yu Ning no chance to coax or deceive it.

With a hand transformed into a blade, it pins Yu Ning against the cold wall, its inorganic pupils staring straight at him.

"I have to catch him."
