Mostly strong female leads. The standard is that the heroine always has the power to choose for herself, rather than gaining something through the hero's charity out of love. The whole story focuses on the heroine and highlights her charisma.
Well-Written Stories
The writing has to be decent, and it should make me cringe no more than twice. The plot or prose must be above average, at least one of them. Female leads, no romance, top protagonists, powerful tops.
