[Anime + Western Crossover] I Shot Myself

[Sensitive subject matter. I'll start posting when the regulations are relaxed.] Whenever Noah falls asleep, he enters a long, lucid dream and can't wake up without some major shock. After experimenting many times, he discovered that suicide was a good way out. But at some point, almost every time he tried to wake himself, someone stopped him in the dream. Noah, stopped from killing himself: "I believe practice makes perfect. If you've never died, you have no right to say death is bad." "...People with mental illnesses are getting younger these days." Noah, saved from killing himself: "No offense, but have you ever considered why it's not illegal to stop someone from dying, but it is illegal to stop someone from living?" "??? I'll make you an appointment with a therapist." Noah, whose gun was knocked away: "I wasn't trying to kill myself! Really! My ability only works if I shoot myself!" Everyone looked at him with disbelief. "What ability? Creative ways to kill yourself? Go on, why did you stop talking?" Noah: "..." After he fires a gun, he randomly gains the ability of a fictional character. There's also a chance he'll be hit by a bullet, die, and wake up in reality. But if he explains it like that, they'll definitely stop him again! Can't I use my ability in peace?! Reading guide: 1. The timeline is a mess. Pick whichever version of the setting you like. 2. I couldn't think of a CP, so there won't be one.
