Chinese Greenhouses Take the Interstellar World by Storm

Gu Ran is a college student who grew up in the countryside. Her parents put her through school using the money they earned from their greenhouse, hoping she'd choose a major that would help her settle down in the city. But Gu Ran chose agricultural science, hoping to help her parents after graduation.

Before she had even finished half of her first year, she closed her eyes and opened them in the future.

It is the year 8124 of the interstellar era, 300 years after a great disaster. The soil and seeds are badly polluted, and only laboratories can grow crops. Produce has become a luxury that only the nobility can afford, and agriculture has become one of the most popular fields of study.

Gu Ran barely has time to feel relieved that her new self was studying the same subject before she is expelled. With no other choice, she returns to her new self's hometown, a remote planet.

Looking out over the vast wasteland, an idea suddenly comes to her: she's going to build a greenhouse!

She clears the land, selects materials, builds a greenhouse, composts manure, and waters the soil. Watermelons and green beans in summer, cherry tomatoes, green beans, and peppers in autumn...

Gu Ran is hard at work, and without realizing it, she accidentally starts a livestream.

[What is she doing? Isn't that star-beast poop?]

[Eugh, eugh, she's using poop to grow crops? Is this streamer crazy? Does she think star-beast poop can grow food? Ever since the great disaster, only laboratories have been able to grow anything.]

[Polluted seeds are cheap, but that doesn't mean she should waste them like this. Heh, I'm reporting her to the Agriculture Association.]

Later, rows of plump, emerald-green watermelons stretch as far as the eye can see, while ruby-red cherry tomatoes sparkle in the sunlight...

The people who doubted her at first were soon forced to eat their words. Seeing her products sell out in an instant, they cried and begged the streamer to stock more.

Gu Ran reached the pinnacle of life and married a rich, handsome man, smiling brightly.

At first, she only wanted to feed herself. Later, she wanted fruits and vegetables to stop being exclusive to the nobility.
