…Synopsis…
Wennu was once an exalted immortal, but was forced to become a fallen god.
Fortunately, he met Gu Yu, the mortal emperor who defied his ministers' objections and made him his male consort.
To outsiders, Gu Yu was a notorious tyrant and foolish ruler. Everyone feared and hated him, and wanted to kill him at the first opportunity.
But to Wennu, Gu Yu was good to him. Even when rumors said he was merely a stand-in for the tyrant's beloved first love, he still trusted Gu Yu without wavering.
Until the lies fell apart.
He escaped, only to be brought back by the tyrant, who did the most intimate things with him. "Immortal, once you've given birth, shall we start over?"
He knew it was all a lie. The tyrant only wanted the umbilical cord blood of a fallen god's child to save the person he truly loved.
I, Gu Yu, am the emperor of the Gu Dynasty. My greatest pleasure is slowly tormenting my enemies until they wish they could die, but cannot.
Outsiders call me a tyrant. So what? They can only submit to me.
The Imperial Preceptor saved my life. I searched through the ancient texts and finally found a cure for him: the umbilical cord blood of a fallen god's child.
I was fortunate enough to find a fallen god on the battlefield, dressed in white as pure as snow, with a face like a peach blossom.
Thinking of the Imperial Preceptor's illness, I came up with a plan.
Later, everything fell apart. When I learned the immortal had escaped, I suddenly panicked and did something I deeply regretted. I told him that once the child was born, we would start over.
A-Nu and my child are both healthy. I held the child and went to see him, telling him I would make the child crown prince.
But he was already gone from the palace. He left behind only four words: our bond is severed.
A-Nu, A-Nu, how dare you abandon your husband and child... I was wrong. I really was wrong. I only ask you to come back...
P.S. The author's note in Chapter One contains content warnings. A groveling pursuit after the breakup. No personal attacks. Happy ending. A secondary couple appears!!!!

#Classic angsty melodrama#
Tianji was a sickly beauty among the immortals, with a snowy complexion and an ethereal, captivating appearance. He was sent to the mortal realm to serve as the God of Marriage, but his illness struck again on the way, and he fell into the human world.
On the road, he came across someone being hunted. The man's clothes were tattered, his body covered in whip marks, and blood was still dripping from the scar on his face.
Feeling sorry for him, Tianji casually rescued him.
The man said his name was Shen Shi. Then Shen Shi said he could never repay Tianji's life-saving kindness, but would gladly work like an ox or a horse for him.
Tianji thought it over and agreed. Looking back later, he could only conclude that humans were cunning and treacherous.
At first, Shen Shi was kind, gentle, considerate, and attentive.
But in the end, the human revealed his greed. He wanted to keep the god all to himself and make him bear a human's child.
Tianji escaped, but Shen Shi captured him and forced him to take a fertility drug, keeping him entangled day after day. "Immortal, would you bear me a child?"
But Shen Shi didn't know that a child between a human and a god would cause the mother to die, body and soul.
Shen Shi was the second prince of the Song Kingdom, ruthless and guilty of every sort of evil.
After losing his struggle against the crown prince, he was saved by a legendary immortal. Naturally, Shen Shi would not let anything he could use slip through his fingers.
Later, his plans were exposed and the immortal escaped. Shen Shi panicked, afraid the immortal would vanish without a word again. He searched through ancient texts for a method to bind a god, then made the immortal carry his child.
Seeing the immortal's belly grow larger by the day made him happy. "Immortal, once our child is born, we'll live happily together."
But in the end, that could not take precedence over his great ambition. Shen Shi married the son of a great general, only to return from the wedding and find a bed covered in blood.
The immortal was dead, having died on the day of his wedding. He had left behind only the child he shared with Shen Shi. Shen Shi searched the entire kingdom in a frenzy, but could not find his immortal.
The crown prince discovered his actions, and soon Shen Shi was covered in wounds.
At death's door, Shen Shi curled up protectively around the child he shared with the immortal, pleading for one last chance to see his immortal
Theme: Don't judge people by appearances. Everyone has two sides, so look within to understand someone, rather than relying solely on what you see.
There are too many sub-CPs, and the main plot is too confusing. The first ones are okay, but the later ones are getting boring.
Why does the protagonist look for his boyfriend in the trash can?
Xuebai is one step closer to the crematorium
Spread the flowers, spread the flowers, spread the flowers
I feel so uncomfortable if I don't talk about what happened before (I'm talking about me)
I can just talk about it. This crematorium is really simple.
Isn't this No. 9 The system of Anu?
Damn, are there any extras?

So what Wen Nu met was Gu Yu from his later life, not from his previous life.
