The Hunter Men Fight Over Her

At the Hunter Exam, Gon meets Kaxin for the first time.

Every Hunter Examiner treats this mysterious girl with the utmost respect. They call her the "Golden Witch."

From then on, everyone's worldview is constantly turned upside down:

One day, Kaxin takes Hisoka, his face freshly washed, to the busiest city around.

"Go on, buy whatever you want. I'll get it for you."

"You're my most carefully tended little apple, after all, His↗oka↘."

One day, Killua watches helplessly as his big brother walks into an upscale couples' hotel with Kaxin.

Illumi seeks Killua out specifically: "Marrying Kaxin is the most important business strategy for our family."

Illumi: "I'll do everything in my power to make it happen."

Killua: "...You don't have to tell me all that."

Illumi: "No, it's important. If she doesn't choose me, you'll have to take my place."

One day, Kurapika finally meets the Phantom Troupe he's been longing to find.

Kurapika: "He's the leader of the Phantom Troupe?"

Kaxin: "That's right."

Kurapika: "Then why is he... soaking in a jar piled high with flowers and jewels?"

Kaxin: "Because Chrollo Lucilfer is my collectible now."

Kurapika: "… I have a thousand things to say, but all that comes to mind is: badass!"

Gon spots a problem and warns Kaxin.

"Those people are only after your money!"

Kaxin cheerfully pats Gon's spiky hair. "You're still too young. It's better if they're after your money."

#They only wanted a chance to fight a strong opponent#

#They only wanted to obey their family's orders#

#They only wanted to fence the Troupe's stolen goods#

#They only wanted to use this rich, foolish woman#

#...Hey, this is actually pretty great!#

A few things to know before reading:

1. The one-on-one pairing changes in different stages, with a love rivalry. It's technically a fake harem, and the final pairing should be with the Troupe leader.

Because the author covets the leader's fur collar.

2. The heroine isn't perfect and has character flaws.

3. This isn't a pure-love story. There are conflicts of interest, and the three beauties have their own schemes going full speed.

4. Don't ask about updates. The author is a pigeon cooing away. If there are fries, updates will come more regularly.

Theme: Money can help you achieve your dreams, but it can't bring true happiness.
