Since I can't update on a regular schedule, I'm taking this down from paid access. I'll fill it in when I get inspired.
Miaomiao was a stray clown cat with a bad leg. When a typhoon raged and she had nowhere to go, she curled up pitifully in a corner. Lu Fei walked by with an umbrella, picked up the dirty, ugly Miaomiao, brought her home, and became her owner.
After dying, lame Miaomiao opened her eyes and found herself reborn as a soft, fair-skinned fifteen-year-old girl.
Her family warned her a hundred times that the disabled, hard-of-hearing man across the street was a monster. He bit and beat people, got into group fights, and went to prison. If she went near him, he'd hurt and ruin her.
Miaomiao clutched herself in fright. She still had to find her owner, so she absolutely couldn't let herself get hurt!
But where was her owner?
Then one day, as she passed the house across the street, its weathered wooden door swung open.
The moonlight was cold and the stars shone brilliantly. The legendary cruel, terrifying monster looked up from behind the door. Miaomiao saw his eyes, black as obsidian, deep and menacing, like the dark currents of the deep sea sweeping toward her in the night.
A piece of dried fish fell to the ground as Miaomiao excitedly meowed and meowed.
Her owner had appeared!
And her owner was still a boy!!!
[The heroine is reborn as a human with her memories as a cat. She loves clinging to people and dried fish, but neither compares to her beloved owner.]
[The hero is hard of hearing, has a severed leg, and suffers from mental illness. He's insecure yet arrogant, with genius-level intelligence.]
If all goes as planned, I'll write this in January. See my profile for The Concubine with the Slender Waist and Jade-like Bones.
Ti Ning transmigrates into the role of a lowly mistress devoted to the male lead, destined to be abandoned by him. In the end, because she refuses to leave and keeps making trouble for the female lead, she dies a gruesome death.
Ti Ning: "..." A strained smile QaQ.
Because of this, she decides to stick unwaveringly to the original character's persona: tending to the male lead when he's ill, bringing him soup and medicine, mending his clothes, making his bed, being obedient and sweet, then shyly and hesitantly confessing, "Your Highness, I love you."
Then she'll wait for him to meet his true love, send her away without a second thought, and part ways cleanly, without any lingering ties.
At last, his true love appears, and Ti Ning hides under her quilt, smiling to herself.
Next, the other concubines are dismissed, and Ti Ning packs her little bundle and brings her small stash of silver notes.
Finally, the male lead shows up with a cold expression. Ti Ning looks at him with watery, almond-shaped eyes, pitiful yet considerate. "I don't want to make things difficult for Your Highness. I'll leave now."
In an instant, the male lead's composure disappears. He pins Ti Ning hard against the wall and bites down on her neck, his eyes bloodshot. "You want to leave? Only over my dead body."
Ti Ning's legs give way. "????"
Ahhhhh, I fell into a trap
