[The Phantom of the Opera] Medium's Code

Flirting comes naturally to Jana. Trying to compose melodies from the sounds of a world beyond the living, however, was inspired by the careful guidance of her ghostly friend. "Eric, did you see that? Everyone is trembling to my music, too!" She was so grateful that the spirit of music had once held such lofty hopes for her that Eric simply couldn't bring himself to confess his crime. He had never wanted to see that, beneath her budding beauty, there was anything more to praise than a body made to be plucked and enjoyed. All his previous, ill-timed lessons had been a scheme to lure her into becoming his host. But a truly pure and beautiful soul does not lose its radiance just because it has been tamed. Take Jana, for example, the most numb and licentious beauty in the pleasure houses of Paris. She believed every lie Eric told her, yet she still bore fruit between his fingers that did not belong to a ghost. P.S. In plain English: the idiot tried to manipulate the person he had a crush on and failed, only to get himself caught up in it instead. Don't panic, everyone. This is a sweet romance!
