My Boyfriend Turned into an Elementary Schooler.

Seven years after my boyfriend died, a little boy cornered me in my detective agency.

Looking at a face that seemed like a scaled-down version of my dead boyfriend, my mind went blank for three seconds. I couldn't help wondering when Chihaya had had a child who was already in elementary school...

Then, during those three seconds, the boy burst into tears. "Sayo-chan!!"

Me: "..."

Incredible. My boyfriend, who died in the line of duty seven years ago, had suddenly appeared to scam me.

The Junior Detective League had recently taken on a new case: investigating the new transfer student.

He was a mysterious classmate. He had only just transferred, but had already become the most popular kid at Teitan Elementary. What caught the Junior Detective League's attention, though, was his family situation.

Even though people invited him to play after school every day, he always turned them down, saying someone was waiting for him at home.

He claimed he was staying with an acquaintance, but they had never once seen his temporary guardian.

Most importantly, he claimed he had barely gone outside before transferring because of health problems, yet he was remarkably intelligent and emotionally mature. He even knew things children shouldn't know...

The Junior Detective League was sure the transfer student was hiding an earth-shattering secret and that his identity was anything but ordinary. The two fake kids had also begun to suspect that he was connected to the Black Organization. All they needed was decisive proof.

Until one day, they watched the usually composed and reserved transfer student run into his guardian's arms with a smile as bright as spring sunshine. He wrapped his arms around the beautiful big-sister detective's neck and kissed her face again and again, first on the left, then on the right, as eagerly as a woodpecker.

The familiar big sister wore an expressionless face, looking as if she'd given up resisting. Beside her, the curly-haired police officer looked grave and unconsciously reached for his handcuffs.

The Junior Detective League: ...

The Junior Detective League: What? So he wasn't hiding some big secret. He's just a more affectionate version of Conan!
