It’s Not Easy Being a Scum Top [Quick Transmigration]

[The blurb and premise date back to 2018 and may feel a little old-fashioned. They may be revised before the story begins.]

Many people knew that film emperor Shen Yezhou had a beloved who was beyond his reach. Few knew that this unrequited love was his friend, screenwriter Su Yu.

One day, Su Yu was in a car accident and became a vegetable. Someone had to enter his subconscious to wake him, so Shen Yezhou volunteered as a friend and entered Su Yu's inner world.

Then he discovered...

Why was Su Yu's mind full of melodramatic scripts about scum tops and pathetic bottoms?

And why was Su Yu the pathetic bottom, while he was the scum top?

Su Yu: I love you, darling. Could you... could you look back at me? I'll do anything for you.

Shen Yezhou: ???

[Plot alert: The protagonist Su Yu has appeared. Please follow the script and give him a thorough humiliation.]

Shen Yezhou: ...Director, I need a moment.

In a nutshell: A devoted top struggles to survive in a scum-top-and-pathetic-bottom melodrama, while mercilessly tormenting (spoiling) his beloved.

Pairing: A good top who transmigrates into the scum top X the unrequited love who plays the pathetic bottom

Reading notes:

1. Top's POV, one-on-one romance. The transmigration may take a while. Silly, mutual doting, both secretly in love, happy ending.

2. Both leads are beloved by the author. Extreme fans, please stay away. Readers who demand strict realism, proceed with caution. This is a light read, so don't overthink it.

3. Both leads put effort into their relationship. The pairing will not be reversed or broken up.

4. The story has plenty of original worldbuilding. If you don't like it, close the page. The author is sensitive, so personal attacks will be returned in kind. No writing advice, please.

5. The blurb dates back to 2018 and has been screenshot for proof. Steal my ideas and you'll go bald, choke on water, and pay double for groceries.

Theme: Stay true to yourself
