(Blurb 1)

When Meng Shuli became famous at eighteen, she was interviewed. The young director lazily held a cigarette, her gaze cold. "You said Cen Yue... Who's that?"

Years later, Cen Yue became a star overnight as the leading actress in a film directed by Meng Shuli. Rumor had it that the actress Cen and Director Meng had been at odds for a long time. Meng Shuli appeared on a talk show, where the host deliberately asked her, "If Director Meng were to date someone, which part of them would she like best?"

Meng Shuli suddenly gave a low, deep laugh and said, "The waist."

"What kind of waist?" the host asked again.

Meng Shuli answered slowly, "One like Cen Yue's..."

"Strong."

(Blurb 2)

Meng Shuli knows she's sick, the kind of sick that runs deep. She's always longing for something. Then she sees that girl again, and finally understands: she desperately wants to break free of her gentle self, then lead Cen Yue into her trap, one step at a time.

She arranges a failed political marriage, but accidentally enters a glittering modern world and gets caught up in a series of criminal cases, uncovering a secret buried for years. A murdered actress, a birthmark burning hot, conflicting testimonies... She feels a pathological thrill rising within her.

Fortunately, she finds Cen Yue again, just as a cat finds catnip.

[A story about two big bad wolves pretending to be little white rabbits in front of each other]

① Plot-driven sweet romance. Happy ending. Feel free to guess the foreshadowing and where the plot is headed. ② Meng Shuli x Cen Yue: a (fake) identity barrier, (real) yandere; a gentle, down-on-her-luck director x a (fake) social anxiety, (real) scumbag, adorable and perfect idol. ③ They test each other at first, but they've had feelings for each other from the very beginning.
