The Peony's Ancient Mystery-Solving Life

Yan Mo is a three-time national sanda champion and the police force's resident tough girl. On a mission, fully equipped, she accidentally travels back to ancient times. Through a series of misunderstandings, she is mistaken for a man and becomes a constable.

To keep her steady government job, Yan Mo has to desperately conceal her secret identity, afraid her real gender will be exposed.

She just wants to live a peaceful, ordinary life. But whenever a murder case comes along, she steps up without fear, determined to uncover the truth and catch the culprit.

A small frame, yet immense strength.

With strength, she can master any technique; with skill, she can overcome overwhelming force.

Ever since Yan Mo came along, the case-solving rate has soared, attracting the attention of the Chief Minister of the Court of Judicial Review.

Chief Minister: You're impressive. Come work for me.

They say the Chief Minister has a sharp eye, and any lie told in front of him is as fragile as thin paper... They also say he is ruthless and merciless, never gives anyone leeway, and cannot tolerate the slightest flaw...

Most importantly, the Chief Minister can't stand having women around him! Whenever a woman gets close, he treats her with the cold ruthlessness of autumn winds sweeping away fallen leaves!

Yan Mo: ...Do I have the right to refuse?

Chief Minister: You can try.

Yan Mo: ...
