Hello, Please Pay Child Support

An accident turned Lin Ting into an unmarried father.

Then he secretly ran away with the baby.

Two years later, the little money-devouring beast nearly ate him out of house and home.

Lin Ting was at his wits' end. A college student really couldn't afford this.

He wanted to give his child the best of everything, and the result was that...

Lin Ting successfully ran himself into the ground.

Watching the little one shakily carry over a glass of water to help him take his medicine, then say he would tighten his belt and live on Wangzai steamed buns from now on, Lin Ting suddenly understood:

Why should he let the child's other father enjoy himself out there, free of responsibility?

Child support. He had to pay!

Gu Wangjin was Lin Ting's senior at university by two years.

By the time Lin Ting took a leave of absence, Gu Wangjin had already graduated.

They met again on the day Gu Wangjin attended a university event as an honored alumnus.

Lin Ting, still recovering, stopped him. "We have a child."

Gu Wangjin: "..."

Lin Ting: "Raising a child isn't one person's job, so..."

Gu Wangjin: "All right. Let's live together."

Lin Ting: "Huh???"

Not long afterward, Lin Ting really did move into Gu Wangjin's home with the little one.

He figured the only way to learn was by doing. He couldn't afford to be a sucker, and he needed to experience raising a child firsthand before deciding how much child support would be appropriate.

Some time later, Lin Ting decided it was about right.

He lifted the little one up in front of Gu Wangjin.

"Senior, you're so good to the baby, so..."

Could you pay a little more child support?

Before he could finish, Gu Wangjin lowered his eyes to look at him.

Then he covered the child's eyes with one hand, pressed the other to the back of Lin Ting's head, and bent down to kiss him.

Gu Wangjin: "Mm. Let's go to the civil affairs bureau."

Lin Ting: "Huh???"
