Five Years Apart, Three Years Back Together

A companion series, The Criminal Psychology Assessment System. Visit my profile to check it out.

[Early black history, very amateurish. If you make it to the end, you're a true fan.]

One-on-one, happy ending. A sweet romance disguised as a criminal investigation story. It's sweet, trust me.

Cool, aloof, highly intelligent police officer, the top × talkative, kindhearted, warm and straightforward PE teacher, the bottom

Three years after separating from Wei Qiuxui, Yu Fei gets caught up in a brutal serial murder case.

To find the killer and clear his name, he is forced to team up with his former lover, now a deputy squad leader.

But as they investigate the case, they uncover a chain of connections linking everything together.

Having taken one step into the abyss, they can only hold on to each other as they move forward.

Writing isn't easy, so please support the official version~

A list of things you may like or dislike:

Strong leads / older top / rekindled romance / the point of view shifts as I write, without sticking to one character

The leads only have each other from beginning to end / neither is a jerk / there will definitely be melodramatic misunderstandings

Elementary-school-level writing / my first attempt at a crime investigation story, but there will still be more everyday romance. The investigation is just a change of pace. Don't be too picky about the plot logic.

Overall, this isn't really about solving crimes or mystery and deduction. It's probably a story about growing up?

A partially fictional setting. The laws and regulations differ from the real world; this is all made up, so don't take it seriously.

Up next: Deeply Unattached [Entertainment Industry]

Playboy rich second-generation CEO, the top × a beauty who initially ignores you, then becomes someone you can't hope to measure up to, the bottom

Bai Fan × Lin Wen. A melodramatic and silly entertainment-industry story about a patron supporting his kept lover.
