Back then, everyone in the computer science department knew the icy campus bully Sui Zhen. His three favorite things in life were smoking, fighting, and hanging out at internet cafes.

Then he met Fu Qiong, an upperclassman in the oil painting program at the fine arts college. His favorite things became making money, doing homework, and sticking to his wife.

He'd crowd into Fu Qiong's dorm room and refuse to leave, following him everywhere like a genuine human-sized piece of sticky candy.

Fu Qiong was his roommate, his expert support in their game, and the "wife" everyone thought was his.

Sui Zhen: "I'm the only one who gets to bully my wife."

Everyone knew how possessive Sui Zhen was. If anyone so much as glanced at Fu Qiong while they were walking down the street, Sui Zhen would glare at them.

The whole school thought these two handsome guys were in a gay relationship. Only Fu Qiong knew he was just a pretend wife, a nickname Sui Zhen tossed around without thinking. Sui Zhen treated him well, and they acted like a couple, but they weren't dating at all.

Fu Qiong asked him, "What's the difference between us and a couple?"

Sui Zhen: "You're my type, but two men kissing is pretty gross."

Fu Qiong didn't dare tell him that he had really fallen for him.

After graduation, convinced Sui Zhen was straight and that they had no future together, Fu Qiong stayed by his side as a friend.

Years later, a chance encounter brought the two back into contact.

As a concept artist at a game company, Fu Qiong faced overwhelming performance targets every day. His love life was going nowhere, his career was exhausting him, and his health was failing. Then a newly rising game company came along to challenge them. The boss declared that by the end of the year they had to surpass its performance and break into the industry's top three.

Fu Qiong was completely drained, and Sui Zhen still stuck to him every day.

Fu Qiong: "I'm so busy. Can you stop bothering me? I just want to focus on my career."

Sui Zhen: "You do your thing. I'll pursue you."

Later, Sui Zhen used the high rent as an excuse to invite him to move in together.

Sui Zhen looked pitiful. "Senior, we used to live together, too."

Fu Qiong: "That was because I used to like you. I like men."

Sui Zhen: "?"

Fu Qiong (calmly): "...Right, so stop calling me your wife."

After Fu Qiong confessed, he started avoiding Sui Zhen and disappeared.

Sui Zhen searched for him frantically. "Why are you avoiding me?"
