After Maxing Out My Extra Role, I Became the Demon King's Palm Bug

When the Lord of the Netherworld was pushed into the abyss by his trusted confidant, his heart filled with despair. All he could feel was a warm, sticky lump of something. He gave a self-mocking laugh, named the "bug" keeping him company at the end Ah Chong, then closed his eyes and fell into reincarnation.

When he opened his eyes again, the once all-powerful Demon King had become a Level 0 good-for-nothing, while that very "bug" had transformed into a max-level powerhouse, peerlessly handsome and unfathomably strong.

The Demon King bristled. "Why do I have to start from zero while you're already max level?!"

Ah Chong glanced at him coolly. "Maybe because you caused too much trouble in your past life."

The Demon King grew even angrier. "Then why did you get to go from bug to human? And why are you better-looking than me?!"

Ah Chong drew his blade and cut down the Level 5 bats swooping toward them, then turned to look at him. "Keep arguing and I'll let the bats have you for a snack."

From being dismissed as an "ugly thing" by the good-for-nothing Demon King to being protected at every turn by a max-level powerhouse, the Demon King gradually realized that this bug wasn't just good in a fight: he also kept watching him from the shadows, lost in thought. Then, on the day of the final battle, Ah Chong smiled and plunged a dagger into his own heart. Only then did the Demon King realize:

The so-called final Boss was the one who had accompanied him from the mire all the way back to the peak.

The System's prompt rang out: "Rewind to your first meeting? The price is that he will forget everything."

Ah Chong answered without hesitation. "Yes."

Time turned back. The Level 0 little bug trembled in a corner, only for the max-level Lord of the Netherworld to scoop him into his arms. The other man's fingertips traced his rough shell, his voice gentle in a way even he himself did not notice. "You're a little ugly... but for some reason, I want to keep you by my side."

This time, I'll be the one to come to you.
