Bound by Fate [Meng Lijun]

I couldn't stand seeing Meng Lijun, in the original story, cornered and tormented in turn by two lecherous men, with nowhere to run and an ending that wasn't really an ending. So I decided to give her a chance to be reborn and start over. From the start, this time I'll make the first move. Chancellor Li must not lose! Official blurb: "If you're willing to come with me, from now on you'll have to forget your name, your former identity, even your birth parents..." Meng Yuan looked at the beautiful "man" before her, so strikingly androgynous, and gritted her teeth. "I will." Meng Lijun looked at the disheveled girl before her and saw herself in her previous life, just after running away from home to escape an arranged marriage. To save this girl was also to save her former self. If the girl could find freedom, then surely she could find freedom too! Years later, someone asked how Chancellor Li had met her wife. Meng Lijun: "I found her by the roadside." In short: A little beast is taken in by a kind-hearted person, then gradually starts harboring wicked intentions toward its owner. The graceful, radiant female chancellor x a fiercely loyal maid who loves only her mistress Based on the original Qing dynasty tanci version, not the TV drama. (This is important, because Su Yingxue's characterization in the original isn't nearly as good as in the drama. She's simply a lovesick fool pining for Huangfu Shaohua, so I have stripped her of the female second lead role.) You can enjoy the story even if you haven't read the original. It can be read as a completely new story. New novel pre-release: The High God Willingly Becomes My Dog Everyone in the Three Realms knows that the dragon maiden Yaoguang is in love with the moon goddess Wangshu. To win her over, Yaoguang not only cast aside her dignity and did many ridiculous things, but also made a grave mistake that nearly got her cast out of the North Sea Dragon Clan. But the moon goddess never spared her a second glance. Always cold as ice, she kept Yaoguang at arm's length. If not for a twist of fate that led Yaoguang to save her life, and the moon goddess agreeing to become her immortal partner in gratitude, then no matter how hard Yaoguang tried, she would never have earned her favor in this lifetime. Yaoguang thought that now they were finally together, and her wish had come true, they could live happily ever after. But the marriage did not last long, and ended in divorce. No one knew why. All anyone knew was that the dragon maiden had retreated in sorrow to the North Sea, living in seclusion, while the moon goddess kept her lips sealed and never spoke of their past again. Until, hundreds of years later, they met again. When old enemies meet, sparks fly... Yaoguang: If I ever fall for her again, I'll be a dog! Yaoguang: Woof, woof, woof!
