Orders from the Decepticon leadership usually mean you don't get a choice.
On the day she was transferred, Zhaoming accepted her new assignment with an attitude of giving up and going with the flow.
The mission: study a test subject, advance the project, and, while she's at it, form a mating bond with the subject and produce a new spark.

2. Plot
You don't need to know the original series to enjoy this!~
The story is set in the continuity of the live-action movies, with settings drawing on, but not limited to, TFP/IDW/G1. There are plenty of original additions, and Marvel and DC are also involved, with a few tributes included.
This is romance-focused, not a serious canon-style story, and respects all the original characters.
