[Classic Literature] Beneath the Jeweled Crown

Eugenie, the most famous little porcelain doll in Paris, changed completely after accidentally falling into the water.

With her cousin as the King of France and her cousin's wife as both the Queen and an Austrian archduchess, she throws her weight around Paris, picking fights with everyone like a little tyrant.

Later, when Eugenie turns eighteen, everyone starts wondering which poor soul will marry her, and how long the marriage will last.

To everyone's surprise, that marriage withstands all their speculation and lasts to the very end.

[Bonus Scene]

A few days ago, rumors spread through Paris that Eugenie's family was having problems and her marriage was on the rocks.
