The youngest daughter of the Lu family, Lu Rumeng, was born beautiful and radiant, with looks that could make flowers wilt. Her alluring eyes could see right through people's hearts.

Only after her father defected to an enemy nation did she learn that she wasn't a Lu by birth.

From then on, she set out to find her father.

On the journey, she met Yuchi Yeshe. He said, "Rumeng, Yuchi wasn't originally a surname. It was a title before the name of the first king of Khotan, meaning conqueror or victor. It later became a surname."

"What?"

"I said, I wish to place my surname before your given name."

"I don't want that."

"Why?"

"I think of you as a friend, and you want to be my daddy?"

"..." That's not what I meant.
