Peach Blossom Cheongsam

Blurb 1:

As she moved her wrist, the long sleeve of her cheongsam slid down to her elbow, revealing a pink-purple jade bangle. The bangle was finely textured and very transparent, top quality among jade stones, and likely worth over a million.

Her arm was very fair, so fair you couldn't see any pores. Yet there was a pink mark on her wrist.

A pink peach blossom.

Ming Yu came to her senses, narrowed her eyes, and looked at the pink peach blossom on her wrist, lost in thought.

"Brother Ming Yu, what did you say just now?"

"It's not that I took a particularly good photo of you. You're just naturally beautiful."

Blurb 2:

When Fu Chenyang first met her, he said, "May I see your handkerchief?"

Yu Li handed it to him. "Here you go."

Fu Chenyang spread the handkerchief across his left palm. He touched its lower-right corner and looked at the character "Li," embroidered beside a sprig of lilac. His eyebrow lifted, and his eyes shone with the delight of someone who had just found a priceless treasure.

"?"

"I really like this handkerchief. Would you give it to me?"

She thought it was too personal to give away: it was a handkerchief she carried close to her, embroidered with her name. She couldn't give it to a man she didn't know, whose name she didn't even know.

He held her wrist, marked with a peach blossom, and wrote his name over and over in her palm.

"Fu Chenyang. Give me the handkerchief as a token. I'll come find you. Don't forget me."
