818: The Movie Emperor I Raised from a Child

Also known as Daily Agricultural Economics: New Business Opportunities with a Pet Parrot and Everyone Else Keeps Birds, I Keep a Movie Star

Chi Ming, a lifelong bachelor, was tricked into buying himself an unusual Qixi Festival gift: a tiny, still-unweaned, bald parrot chick, apparently a cockatiel.

A fortune-teller said that if he raised it to adulthood, he would finally stop being single.

Thanks to Chi Ming's highly questionable feeding methods, the cockatiel grew up healthy and strong. It just seemed to have developed a rather strange style.

Other people's parrots only knew how to eat and play. His parrot could take a bath, take out the trash, turn on the TV, and watch Animal World...

Chi Ming: "What kind of bird are you, anyway?"

Parrot: "I'm your bird, of course."
