The Right Way to Say Goodbye to Your Ex (ABO)

Yuan Feng, a BETA, once had three exes.

The first brought him endless hate, the second gave him countless "touching moments," and the third was thoroughly trashed by the first. Now he's picked a fourth partner based on the low-maintenance standard and is about to start dating them, but beneath their delicate facade lies a deeply scheming soul...

Yuan Feng has always understood his role.

If life were a novel, his would definitely be an anthology of cannon fodder characters.

In a world where Alphas are leaders and Omegas need to be cherished and cared for, Betas seem bland and boring.

So when he saw an Omega beside his first partner, supposedly "fighting fate" and "striving for self-reliance," he recognized the type of woman who acts like one of the guys to get attention. He promptly walked away. He never expected his three scummy exes to keep pestering him, all hoping to kick off a "chase your ex until they forgive you" storyline.

Yuan Feng: "But all I have here is a crematorium."

Things to know before reading:

This is a revival of an old, abandoned project.

I'm restarting it for the readers who've been waiting for updates, so be aware that it uses a melodramatic trope from several years ago. If that's not your thing, protect your eyes and look away.

There are scummy characters, but no doormats. The protagonist is pretty ruthless, so readers looking for a kind and virtuous main character should think carefully before starting.

This story aims to show how awkwardly Betas are positioned in Alpha-Beta-Omega fiction, so readers who want nonstop wish fulfillment should think carefully before starting.

The story has both sweet and angsty moments. Don't force yourself to read it if that's not your thing.
