"With you by my side, I can win. I wouldn't regret it even if we went to the ends of the earth."

1. The next time she saw Liang Youqi was in the height of summer, eight years later.

While sneaking glances at him, Ye Xiyao panicked and bumped into a fruit platter brought in by a server, staining her skirt.

As she changed, she had trouble putting on her necklace. In a hurry, Ye Xiyao went downstairs to ask for help and happened to run into Liang Youqi, who was coming up.

Sunlight streamed through the rose window and fell across the stairs. With one hand in his pocket, he stepped on the vivid roses and walked slowly toward the lost little deer.

Liang Youqi took the necklace from her hand, then his tall, straight figure enveloped her from behind.

As her heart pounded wildly, his low voice, cool and clear, tapped gently against her eardrums. "I thought you'd stick it out to the end."

She felt guilty for not keeping the promise they'd made to each other, but Liang Youqi simply turned and walked away.

Back in his room, Liang Youqi closed his eyes.

At the top of the stairs, the girl lifted her skirt and rushed toward him like a little bird with wings, her eyes shining with a familiar, nostalgic light.

Like a long-lost dream, she crashed into his world.

He looked up at her, a flash of amazement in his eyes.

His little sister had grown up.

2. When Liang Youqi returned to compete on the professional circuit, he took a beautiful reporter with him everywhere.

Gossip accounts fanned the flames, spreading "dirt" about the woman. Her name was even tagged as someone riding on the coattails of business moguls, and the topic stayed on the trending list all day.

That night, Liang Youqi posted on Weibo: My little princess.

Ye Xichen reposted it right away: My biological little sister, the Ye family's precious girl. Anyone spreading rumors can expect to hear from our lawyers.

The internet exploded, and all those gossip accounts that loved chasing clout shut up.

Then the beautiful reporter's old posts about her unrequited crush were dug up, and her family background was exposed.

Netizens said, "The fairy has known the God of Desire since childhood. With the Liang and Ye families joining forces to deny the rumors, won't those people who took sides and insulted her feel embarrassed now?"

A week later, at the award ceremony for the World Go League finals, Liang Youqi reclaimed the honor that belonged to him.

As Ye Xiyao cried with joy, the man on the podium confessed to her from afar: "Sorry to keep you waiting, my little princess."

After the ceremony, a streamer wanted to interview Liang Youqi. When they opened the training room door, the camera caught

Ye Xiyao sitting on Liang Youqi's lap, eating ice cream with one hand while idly tugging at the collar of his shirt with the other.

The wrinkles in his shirt were enough to make anyone gasp. Everyone knew Liang Youqi was a severe neat freak.

But the man didn't seem to notice at all. The person who was always cold in front of the cameras now had the faintest smile on his lips and adoration in his eyes.

"My sweet girl, you little messy cat."

Ye Xiyao looked up and met those deep, tender eyes, like a god's. Unable to resist, she grabbed his collar and kissed him.

"I wasn't going to kiss you, but then you had to tempt me."

A public confession plus private affection: a double dose of sweetness hit everyone at once, and the live comments immediately flooded with: "Aaaaaah, they're so sweet I'm dying!"

"No wonder he's the God of Desire. He's insanely hot!!!"
