Synopsis 1: In her senior year of high school, Zhong Zhi met her first love, and her young romance crashed into a wall.

That beautiful boy, lovely as a flower, had no heart.

With starlit eyes and a faint smile, he ground her love into the mud.

After the college entrance exams, Zhong Zhi disappeared from Nancheng, carrying a love that had died in its cradle.

Zhou Ze, Nancheng's ultra-rich third-generation heir, went mad.

To force Zhong Zhi to come back, the young master tried every underhanded trick. He punctured her bicycle tires, cut up her train tickets, made dangerous approaches on the rooftop in the middle of the night, held a utility knife to his wrist and demanded answers with tragic melodrama, and mailed her a critical illness notice from a thousand miles away...

Zhong Zhi was unmoved.

A friend summed it up: What a ruthless woman.

Someone told Zhou Ze that Zhong Zhi was too heartless and he should find someone else.

"No! I'll turn into a vine and cling to her until I die!"

Synopsis 2: Zhong Zhi is a student in dire financial straits at Nanshi No. 5 High School, the best high school in the city. Her greatest wish in life is to leave the mountains and get into college.

She'd give up anything to study, so she accepts the capitalist's hypocritical charity.

She's assigned to live in the capitalist's home. The only other person there is the capitalist's son, and the capitalist's one condition is that she attend school with him.

The capitalist's son lives a life of wine, women, and song, gathering friends around him and treating life as a game.

He bets his friends that he can make the country bumpkin fall for him and become desperate over him within three months.

Sweet-talking her and setting a three-month-long trap of lies, he is asked what Zhong Zhi means to him.

Zhou Ze replies indifferently, "A stray country cat living under someone else's roof."

"Do you like her, Brother Ze?"

Zhou Ze scoffs. "How could a person have feelings for an animal?"

So Zhong Zhi decides to let this secret, forbidden crush die right then and there.

Later, the boy curls up in a ball, holding her as he weeps and demands to know why Zhong Zhi doesn't love him.

Zhong Zhi: "Because humans and beasts belong to different worlds."

A little scene:

On a rainy night, Zhou Ze rushes to Zhong Zhi's door and grabs her by the shoulders. "I like you so much. Why don't you love me?"

Holding a book and chewing on a steamed bun, Zhong Zhi stares at him for a long time.

"...How many points short are you of getting into Tsinghua?"

"Huh?"

"Could you get into Peking University?"

"Huh?"

"If I improve my English, I can comfortably clear the Tsinghua and Peking University cutoff."

"..."

Zhong Zhi points to her own head, then taps his. "We're not from the same world. Get it?"

The capitalist's son: "..."

My next campus novel of the same type is available to follow: "Secrets of Midsummer"

Synopsis: Song Xueli has a secret. She's secretly loved someone for two lifetimes.

He has black hair, a white shirt, and handsome, refined features.

The first time Song Xueli met him, he was standing on the awards platform, urging the younger students to study hard.

When the wind blew, he seemed to glow.

The second time Song Xueli met him, he was sitting on the school rooftop railing, asking her whether people who were praised were never allowed to make mistakes.

Without a second thought, she nodded.

Later, the boy who had once shone so brightly slit his wrists and lay forever in the bathtub.

Every day afterward, Song Xueli regretted it. If only she hadn't nodded back then.

Given another chance, Song Xueli takes her homework and knocks on Xie Li'an's door.

"Xie Li'an, I don't understand this."

Looking at the girl who'd stuck to him and wouldn't be shaken off, Xie Li'an laughs helplessly. "Kid, you're not messing with me, are you?"

Song Xueli answers with complete confidence: "I don't understand it."
