I have eclectic tastes (anything but insect-themed stories; sometimes I only realize a book has bugs after buying it). I tend to prefer historical danmei. If the writing is decent, I usually give it three or four stars; five stars means it’s a personal favorite.
Completed Stories with Fewer Than 50,000 Favorites
Both BL and BG, I’ll read anything, really. For romance, I lean toward historical Chinese settings, palace and household intrigue, imperial examinations, and that sort of thing, but they’re not always from the female lead’s perspective. Danmei is even more varied.
