After I Transmigrated Back

Wangshu transmigrates into the body of a disgraced official's son, who starved to death in exile rather than accept food offered as charity. He knows that in three years, he will be able to transmigrate back. If he can just hold on, a wonderful tomorrow awaits him. But in this miserable place, where you have to work hard to earn enough to eat, the naturally lazy young master has no way to make a living except shamelessly stealing and begging. There is a hunter in the village, with meat hanging from the eaves of his house. Wangshu, who hasn't eaten meat in ages, stares at it until his eyes turn red with hunger. Unable to resist, he climbs over the wall to steal some. He never expects to steal the hunter's heart, too. From then on, the hardworking country lad cherishes Wangshu above all else. He's a little fierce at times, but usually does whatever Wangshu asks, and Wangshu lives quite comfortably. When the three years are up, Wangshu transmigrates back. His aunt says he was only unconscious for three months. Life should have been peaceful from then on... It should have... Wangshu stares at the face he saw every day for three years, his eyes round and lips parted. He looks so shocked he seems a little dumbfounded. "Um... what's your name?" "Yang Yan." The name is the same, too. Wangshu swallows. "You... you look pretty familiar..." Yang Yan points to the scar on his forehead. "You gave me that." Theme:
