Golden Boy

I reread it again. One of the reasons why I like this book is that it gives me a very psychedelic feeling. If you only read the synopsis, it is really a drama enough story. The three main characters in it are all mentally ill (perhaps Su Pei is slightly less ill), but the emotions of the characters are very real, delicate and believable. This contrast gives the story a light sense of reality, making it both divorced from reality and close to people's hearts, making all the heavy realistic expressions in it become a dreamy fairy tale just like what the wife said. Rereading several chapters this time made me cry, especially the finale. It actually made me a little sad but also very happy at the same time. It was really bittersweet like magic.
