My Boyfriend Is Echizen-kun

I broke up with the young master of the famous Atobe family.

The reason was that he was an awful boyfriend. We'd been dating for six months, and he had never kissed or hugged me. He'd barely even held my hand. He faced everyone with the bearing of a king, and I was truly fed up.

When we broke up, I was like a stray dog. The rain that day fell harder than the rain when Yiping asked her father for money. I cried in the downpour. According to the cheesy plot of a prime-time soap opera, the next thing should have been a fateful encounter with a rich young master.

But what actually happened was,

I slipped and fell in the rain, then accidentally yanked the pants off a short passerby.

A week later, I transferred schools to get away from my ex, Atobe. On my first day, I turned around and saw that my classmate looked exactly like the passerby whose pants I'd pulled off.

Reading Guide:

0. A warning from the author: this story's style is old-fashioned. It's a retro, cheesy Mary Sue story from ten years ago. Please spare both me and yourself.

1. The male lead is little brat Echizen.

2. In the early chapters, the heroine genuinely likes her ex, a certain Atobe.

3. A slightly goofy story of everyday youth.

4. The Miracle Rainbow and that short detective guy from next door will only appear as minor supporting characters and will have almost no impact on the heroine's main story.

Blurb:

My name is Hasegawa Yuki, and I have a short childhood friend who loves tennis.

To keep up with him, I decided to take up tennis. Unfortunately, on my first day, I stepped wrong on the court, fell, and hit my head. I spent an entire semester in the hospital.

Ever since then, I've detested tennis!

So I transferred to Hyotei. On my first day, the school's 200-member tennis club was running laps around campus. Their ridiculous chants and the stunning cheerleaders, each one as beautiful as a movie star, left me dazed... Especially the tennis club captain and student council president

He was elegant and aloof, reserved and haughty. They said he lived in a place that could pass for Buckingham Palace, was incredibly rich, and had enough admirers to circle Hyotei thirty times. He was like a peacock constantly showing off his charm.

Of course, I wouldn't dare say that out loud.

I was planning to get through middle school in peace, but after a few days, I made the strange discovery that this Atobe peacock seemed to be showing off for me.

Lord Atobe: His girlfriend of two years hit her head and forgot everyone except him.

And so the peacock really did start showing off nonstop.
