The Mermaid Princess

The mermaid princess rescued the prince after his ship sank, then quietly slipped away without taking credit.

The princess who found the prince shamelessly laughed and told him, "I was the one who saved you."

The prince replied with a polite smile, "Stop dreaming, you lovesick fool."

Not long afterward, the mermaid princess transformed into a human and came to find the prince. Moved, the prince embraced her.

"I love you."

"Mm."

"I want to repay you!"

"Mm."

"Now I’m going to keep you locked in a fish tank and raise you for the rest of your life!"

The mermaid princess: "?!"

The author’s logic is dead. This was written to get herself off.
