The Dragon and His 121st Dragon-Slaying Knight

The bond between dragons and dragon-slaying knights stretches back through the ages, all the way to the first dragon and the first human created by God. The dragon destroyed a human village, and a human killed the dragon's child. Enraged, God delivered a punishment: If you love fighting so much, then fight forever! From that day on, the dragons had to die by human swords, or they would never have descendants. Humanity had to pass down its legacy from generation to generation, and if they failed to kill the dragons, a plague would spread across the whole continent. "Fight," the Creator said coldly. "Fight until one side is wiped out completely."
