Heartbeat Emergency

Blurb One:

Su Jianyue has an older girl she loves dearly. That name has been engraved in her heart since childhood. Gradually, she realizes her feelings for her sister have changed.

She and her sister live in different cities. As they grew up, they met in person only a handful of times, but Su Jianyue knows by heart every text her sister has ever sent her.

“Today is your third birthday. Happy birthday, hugs~”

“Little Moon, you’re six this year! Happy birthday. Be a good girl and enjoy your first day of school~”

“Happy twelfth birthday. Your big sister hopes you’re always happy and grow up well.”

“Happy birthday, Little Moon. You’re eighteen now.”

(...)

Every year, she received a birthday message from her sister. It had become a habit she couldn’t forget.

It turns out that loving someone is a miraculous thing. Love grows slowly when you aren’t looking, and by the time you notice it, it has already sunk deep into your bones.

Blurb Two:

Everyone knows Shen Xun is Linhai University’s untouchable beauty. Anyone brave enough to pursue her ends up half-frozen by her unapproachable aura.

When the students in her department are bored, they make bets, insisting that nobody in the world could ever win over their university’s untouchable beauty.

One day, on their way to get lunch in the cafeteria, a group of them saw Shen Xun gently buttoning the shirt of a girl they’d never seen before. They exchanged looks, wearing the expressions of people who’d seen a ghost.

Later, Shen Xun received an invitation to the dating show Heartbeat Emergency. Without even looking up, she declined on the spot. “Dating is a waste of time for me.”

The next day, Shen Xun found out Su Jianyue had accepted the show’s invitation. She called them back and changed her answer. “Wasting a few days isn’t a big deal. I’m just worried you’ll lead my little sister astray.”
