After Being Approached by His Son’s Dad

As the title suggests, this whole story is ridiculously sweet, heartwarming, and adorable! A healing little love story~

Five years ago, Gu Jiaming climbed out of a remote mountain village and infiltrated the entertainment industry to cultivate himself. To overcome his lack of romantic experience, he used his outstanding acting skills to flirt with a young Chinese-American “aristocrat” abroad. He dated him for a month to experience love, then fled in a panic when the other man proposed!

Five years later, Best Actor Gu is famous throughout the country, but now he has a four-year-old son by his side.

One day, the little heartthrob pointed at the man taking up an entire page of the financial newspaper and said, “Dad, this guy looks just like me!”

Gu Jiaming glanced at the handsome, composed man in a sharp suit on the page, then asked guiltily, “He’s got an ordinary face and a head like an onion. He’s dark from head to toe and looks like a gatepost. Are you sure you look like him?”

That night, “Gatepost” showed up at his door…

Gu Jiaming: “Kiddo, hurry up and hide your tail!”

Meow’s Note: 1. Faithful to each other, doting on each other, one-on-one romance. A deep, reserved, doting-on-his-wife-to-the-point-of-madness, lovesick seme X a sharp-tongued but soft-hearted, amazingly talented, homemaker uke →_→ (a fox spirit). Maximum sweetness, in a fictional setting where marriage between men is legal and normal.

2. The author is sensitive, so please don’t make personal attacks. I just want to write a light, sweet little story. Personal attacks won’t make me change the plot, and if you make me mad enough, I’ll insult you right back. I’m fierce!

The completed story set in the same world, After Eight Fiances Came Looking for Me, is also satisfying, sweet, doting, and adorable!

Here’s another story set in the same world: Watching Me Eat Fish Is So Exciting Every Day. Blurb: A livestreaming platform’s food channel has an extremely unusual fish-pond streamer. The smallest fish in his pond is over a meter long, and if you get too close, they’ll smack you with their tails. They’re vicious!

The viewers think they’ll never get to watch someone eat fish in their lifetime.

Then one day, a new owner named Yan Ran arrives at the fish pond. He’s not only beautiful and refined, but also a wonderful cook. After that, the livestream starts going like this.

“This fish is too fat, and that’s bad for its health. Never mind, I’ll make sweet-and-sour fish!”

“It’s been cold lately, and grass carp have a hard time surviving. I’ll scoop one out and make boiled fish!”

“How did the catfish’s whiskers get curled up like instant noodles? No, I’m going to go blind from how ugly it is. I’d better make braised fish!”

Then one day, while Yan Ran was livestreaming himself eating fish, a huge fish glittering all over with golden light suddenly appeared in his fish tank.

Yan Ran: “This fish is so big, I’ll need two grills. One secret-recipe flavor, one mildly spicy!” [Trying to hide his excited cat ears]
