Divine Comedy

"I swear by the honor of a knight: I will fight for my faith until my final moment, and shed my last drop of blood!"

As dark clouds engulf the blue sky, icy winds tear through the night, and demonic songs fill every corner of the world,

a girl burdened by a blood feud, a gentle descendant of elves, a hot-tempered heir of the dragon clan, a mermaid of mysterious origins, and even a demon in hiding will take the stage.

The struggle between light and shadow, moral trials between good and evil, trust and betrayal, joy and sorrow, reunion and separation: it is all about to unfold.

The storm sweeps across the continent, and Satan's demonic hand has already reached out...

But don't be afraid.

Take up your weapon, unleash your magic, and take your companion's hand.

Can you hear it?

That's the sound of growing up.

Break free from your cocoon and bloom in the cold.

This is a faux Western fantasy, a chuunibyou work, and faux feel-good fiction. No romance, no real-life inspiration, no logic. It's a short story and won't go behind a paywall. Please don't nitpick or pick apart the plot. If that's not your thing, proceed with caution. Many thanks.
