Weiyang (Emperor Wu of Han and Empress Chen, Both Reborn)

Chen A Jiao: Her grandfather was an emperor, and her uncle was an emperor. At ten, she was betrothed to her young cousin, and then her mother helped him seize the position of Crown Prince. At twenty, she became empress. Her pitiful young cousin, the emperor, was not favored by her powerful grandmother, so for years he could only rely on her protection. That meant she had the final say in everything. But she could never bear him a son. Later, she was deposed. Though she nominally retained the privileges of an empress, she was confined in Changmen Palace, where she remained for fifteen years before passing away quietly. In the end, she was buried as a member of the imperial family beside her grandmother and mother, in the burial complex of her grandfather, Emperor Wen. Emperor Wu of Han: He became Crown Prince at fifteen, ascended the throne at sixteen, and lived to the age of seventy-one. Every woman who bore him a child was put to death on one charge or another. Wei Zifu, who had spent forty-nine years in the palace, was also abandoned by him after being accused of treason. She was stripped of her empress title, with no posthumous title or rites. Then this Emperor Wu of Han was reborn in the year he was fifteen. Chen A Jiao was lying beside him. And he couldn't remember how long it had been since he last thought of Chen A Jiao... Author's note: 0. I promise I won't abandon this story, but the update schedule is undecided. 1. The stories of promising a golden house for a beauty and buying a poem for a thousand gold coins, as well as the name Chen A Jiao, all come from Stories of Emperor Wu of Han, a literary work written by later generations. But they're so popular, so I'm using them. 2. This blurb is based on the history I found. Chen A Jiao was empress for about eleven years, then lived in Changmen for over fifteen years. While there, she spent more than ninety million coins trying to have a child, but to no avail... So Emperor Wu of Han must have visited Changmen; otherwise, how would he have known it didn't work? 3. The more I read, the more Emperor Wu's callous ingratitude astounds me. I honestly don't think he would ever feel remorse or guilt. This story is on hiatus for now, because I only have ideas for a tragic ending, and even those amount to just a few scenes.
